OUR EXPERIENCE

Jon's impressive career started at the age of 14 in London, England working with some of the industry greats, such as Vidal Sasson and Louis Llongueras, ultimately co-owning the prestigious Ginger Group Int'l Salons of London. Jon became the fashion press wonder boy leading him to a demanding schedule of press shoots, runway shows and celebrity hairdressing.

Jon's signature cutting techniques, business savvy and international flair caught the attention of Horst Rechelbacher, founder of Aveda USA and soon thereafter joined Aveda as a world renowned industry platform artist and educator, were he acted as Vice President of sales and education.

That is where he met Linda who was Director of the Aveda advanced training academy and leading editorial stylist. Linda conducted training seminars and workshops for beauty professionals worldwide. Linda and Jon worked together as prominent members of the Aveda artistic team. Their similarities and abilities led this dynamic duo to collaborate to pursue and expand upon their own concepts and vision. In 1988 they opened the prestigious Jon English Salons, followed by the launching of the exclusive Jon English Professional hair care line.

Jon and Linda's dedication to the art of hair, high standards combined with a commitment to hairdressing, drive the organization to be a leading industry force in style, beauty and innovation. The husband and wife duo agree that two heads are greater than one and a team is greater than two. Jon and Linda credit the success of their company to their entire staff.
